Aglianico del Vulture DOC

Dark fruit, red cherry, raspberry and plum appear with spice, leather, balsamic herbs and crushed mineral. Bay, incense, camphor, juniper, anise and graphite are also present. The wine is dense, with lively acidity and a long finish. Aglianico grows at about 650 metres on volcanic soil containing lava and pozzolana. Malolactic fermentation takes place in oak. Alcohol is fourteen percent.

Morello cherry, ripe blackberry and plum appear with cinnamon, cardamom and Asian spice. The tannins have a thick, velvety texture, while freshness and vibrancy accompany the profile. Red berries, rose, grilled herbs, smoke, tobacco, liquorice and incense are also present. Aglianico grows on volcanic soil with pozzolana, lapilli and clay. The wine contains fourteen percent alcohol.
