Fruit grown in Washington’s Rattlesnake Hills was vinified at Okanagan Falls. Primary fermentation used Burgundian yeast in stainless steel between 16 and 20°C. Half remained in stainless steel with malolactic fermentation blocked; the other half moved to new and neutral French oak and completed malolactic fermentation. The wine was lightly fined and filtered before bottling. Production totalled 200 cases, with 13.5% alcohol.
