Pale strawberry and bricky cherry in colour, this light red has floral aromas, fresh raspberry, red cherry, cherry pulp and leafy notes. About Domaine de Gaubourg
Félix Célard grew up at a former watermill in Anjou, with vineyards just across from the family home. He began his working life as a cook, then trained with Loire growers before returning to the estate. Domaine de Gaubourg farms six hectares on schist slopes near the Loire and the Aubance.
Grolleau Noir, Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc are the heart of the range. The vineyards are farmed organically and harvested by hand; the cellar uses tanks and neutral oak.
