Arnaud Lambert 2023 Les Parcelles Chenin Blanc

Almond, Granny Smith apple, honeyed flowers and mineral notes appear in a dry, delicate profile with present acidity. The wine is made entirely from Chenin Blanc grown on tuffeau limestone with sand and clay topsoil. Natural fermentation remains below seventeen degrees Celsius. Ageing lasts six to eight months in stainless steel, followed by light filtration and the first sulphur addition at bottling.

About Arnaud Lambert
Yves Lambert returned to Saumur in 1996 to establish Domaine de Saint-Just; his son Arnaud joined him in 2005. In 2009, they began organic conversion and took on eight parcels in Brézé.
Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc are the focus of a range spanning sparkling, white and red wines. The vineyards have been worked biodynamically since 2018. Still wines are fermented and aged in steel, concrete and wooden vessels, with native yeasts and sulphur additions delayed until bottling where possible.
