Intense red colour appears with blackcurrant, menthol, resin and mocha, set against an elegant oak background. The wine is persistent and rich, with concentrated, ripe and rounded tannin. It is blended mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon, with Petit Verdot accounting for two percent. Violet and blackberry are also present. The overall profile combines structure, finesse, elegance and opulence. This Bordeaux red comes from Pauillac.

About Château Lynch-Bages
The Pauillac land around Château Lynch-Bages has been used for wine since the sixteenth century. The property took its modern name after Thomas Lynch acquired it in 1750, and it was ranked a Fifth Growth in Bordeaux's 1855 classification. The Cazes family has guided the estate since 1939.
Cabernet Sauvignon dominates plantings in deep Garonne gravel across the estate's hundred-plus hectares, accompanied by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a small share of Petit Verdot. A new gravity-led cellar opened for the 2020 vintage.
