Grosset 2021 Polish Hill Riesling

Lime juice, floral notes and intense lime-pith flavour appear with weight and power. Crisp, ultra-dry and lingering character also feature in this Riesling from the Polish Hill Vineyard in South Australia’s Clare Valley. The vineyard and winery are certified Organic and Biodynamic. Only free-run juice is used, and the finished wine is unfined and vegan.

About Grosset
Jeffrey Grosset founded his Clare Valley winery in 1981, working from a former dairy and butter factory in the historic township of Auburn. From that first vintage, he bottled Watervale and Polish Hill Rieslings separately. Across the four estate vineyards, grape varieties and clones are matched to each site’s geology, elevation and climate.
Vines are tended by hand, and at Springvale the soil is managed without tilling. Grosset helped champion the move to screwcaps in 2000 and has privately funded research into wine closures.
