Morello cherry, raspberry and blackberry lead an intense, fresh bouquet. Smoky notes and liquorice add depth, while pepper, tobacco and undergrowth bring mature savoury complexity. The palate is clear-cut and fleshy, its firm structure softened by silky tannins and lively acidity. Refined and harmonious, it closes with red fruit, earth and a long, gently spiced finish.

About Maison Joseph Drouhin
Joseph Drouhin founded his Beaune wine house in 1880, establishing a Burgundy name that expanded through successive generations. The domaine now reaches from Chablis through the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise to the Mâconnais, with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay at its centre. Vineyard management began moving toward organic and biodynamic practices in the late 1980s, alongside work to preserve vine diversity through massal selection. The family also established Domaine Drouhin Oregon in the Dundee Hills in 1987, a related transatlantic estate with its own identity.
