About Egly-Ouriet
Egly-Ouriet is a grower Champagne estate based in Ambonnay on the Montagne de Reims and directed by Francis Egly. Francis assumed responsibility from his father Michel in the early 1980s, representing the fourth generation of the family’s winegrowing work. The domaine’s vineyards include Pinot Noir-dominant holdings in Ambonnay and neighbouring grand-cru villages, plus Meunier parcels outside that core.
Estate bottling and extended lees ageing became defining parts of the modern programme, though exact durations remain specific to each cuvée and release. Authoritative importers document the family transition, village base and vineyard focus where a detailed official public history is not available. Egly-Ouriet remains a family grower in Ambonnay, working predominantly Grand Cru vineyards on the Montagne de Reims.
