Toasted brioche and gentle oak frame ripe peach, quince and honeydew, with a subtle note of herbal tea adding detail. The palate is rounded yet energetic, carrying roasted stone fruit into a salty, mineral line. Citrus-marmalade brightness keeps the richer texture in balance. It finishes with measured toast, fresh acidity and a savoury, lightly saline persistence.

About Domaine de l'Aigle
Domaine de l’Aigle lies beneath a limestone cliff at Roquetaillade, in the Pyrenean foothills near Limoux. It takes its name from the Bonelli’s eagles nesting above the vineyard.
Gérard Bertrand acquired the estate in 2007, developing its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines and later adding Gewürztraminer. The vineyards are farmed biodynamically, and the steep slopes are harvested by hand.
