Dolin Bonal Gentiane-Quina Aperitif

Amber with copper-red highlights, opening with freshly cut hay, peat and cool balsamic tones. Sweet spice and a suggestion of candied chestnut emerge as it opens. The palate begins soft and velvety, then gains structure through gentian, orange peel and quinquina bitterness. Earthy, herbal and gently warming, it finishes with a measured bittersweet balance that suits serving chilled or over ice.

About Dolin
Dolin began with Joseph Chavasse’s Alpine liqueurs in the early nineteenth century and took its present name after Louis-Ferdinand Dolin acquired the Chambéry distillery in 1852. Only the Chavasse-Dolin and Sevez families have led the house across two centuries, and it remains family-owned.
Its dry, blanc and rouge Vermouth de Chambéry are made by soaking Alpine botanicals in white wine. The house also makes Génépy Le Chamois, Bonal Gentiane-Quina and Bitter de Chambéry.
