Errázuriz La Cumbre Syrah

Blackberry, blueberry and black cherry lead a generous nose, with violet, cracked pepper, dark chocolate and a light savoury edge. The palate is full and polished, carrying ripe fruit through firm, well-shaped tannins and fresh acidity. Oak adds restrained toastiness without obscuring the Syrah’s floral lift. The finish is long, warming and balanced, with spice and cocoa lingering. Decant before serving with grilled lamb, short ribs or smoky aubergine.

About Viña Errázuriz
Founded in 1870 in Chile’s Aconcagua Valley, Viña Errázuriz has a family history spanning six generations. Its vineyards stretch from warmer inland slopes to cooler coastal sites.
The estate began its dedicated Syrah programme in 1993, and Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère and Syrah are central to the reds. Coastal vineyards also grow Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
