Dark candi sugar, piloncillo and jaggery build a deep, molasses-like sweetness over a rich Belgian-style malt base. Extended bourbon-barrel ageing adds vanilla, seasoned oak and warming spice, while expressive abbey yeast brings dried-fruit complexity. Despite its concentration, the finish remains structured, with barrel character and gentle bitterness keeping the dark sweetness in balance. Serve cool in a small glass with braised beef, blue cheese, pecan tart or dark chocolate.
