A full wheat-beer base carries the soft fruit and spice of hefeweizen yeast, while Loral, Citra and Amarillo hops add bright citrus, floral lift and a firmer aromatic edge. The palate is substantial yet smooth, with lively hop character balancing the rounded grain. A gently bitter finish keeps the richness in check. Serve cool with roast chicken, grilled sausages, spicy noodles or washed-rind cheese, where the beer’s weight and freshness can work together.

About Sundown Beer x Boombox Brewing
Vancouver brewers Sundown and Boombox came together to make Mystical Machine, a double-hopped hefeweizen with Loral, Citra and Amarillo hops. Both began at Callister Brewing’s shared brewery: Boombox in July 2016 and Sundown in 2018. The beer pays tribute to Callister’s fermenter number four.
