Ripe pumpkin gives the palate a smooth, gently rounded centre, while cinnamon brings warm aromatic lift. The spice is measured rather than sharp, allowing the soft fruit and warming spirit base to remain balanced through the finish. Serve lightly chilled, over ice or warmed gently with apple cider. It also works naturally in an autumn Old Fashioned, a creamy coffee cocktail or alongside pumpkin pie, ginger cake and toasted pecans.
