Golden with a slight amber cast, this balanced Belgian pale ale layers dried apricot and orange marmalade over a lightly biscuit-like malt frame. Floral, citrus and gently spicy hop notes lead into a fine, persistent bitterness and a crisp, dry finish. Serve cool with roast chicken, grilled sausages, mussels or nutty cheese; its combination of fruit, malt and bitterness is particularly food-friendly.
