Brassneck Inertia II Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout Tall Can

Coconut, cherry and oak open the profile, folding into the base stout’s roast malt, coffee and chocolate. Bourbon-barrel ageing rounds the beer’s harder edges and brings added complexity without losing the dark malt core. The texture is broad and smooth, with fruit, oak and roast staying closely knit through the finish. Serve lightly chilled with braised beef, blue cheese, chocolate tart or roasted nuts.

About Brassneck Brewery
Brassneck opened in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighbourhood in October 2013, placing a tasting room and growler shop in the middle of its working brewery. Most of the beer is sold on site, and small batches keep the selection changing.
A ten-hectolitre brewhouse and a smaller experimental system give the team room to explore familiar styles, lesser-known beers, mixed fermentations and barrel ageing.
