Prune and darker dried fruit sit over a rounded malt core, with candi-sugar sweetness and expressive Belgian yeast adding depth. The palate is generous but composed, balancing its richer fruit and caramel tones with enough structure to keep the finish from feeling heavy. Serve cool rather than ice-cold with braised beef, roast pork, aged Gouda, mushroom dishes or a restrained fruitcake.
