Copper-coloured and deeply malt-led, this extra special bitter balances a substantial malt body with a gentle, earthy hop bitterness. The palate is smooth and composed, carrying the richer grain character without becoming heavy. A clean, dry finish gives the beer its easy-drinking shape and keeps the malt in focus. Serve slightly cool with sausages, shepherd’s pie, roast pork, mushroom dishes or mature cheddar.
