Bright cereal and gentle fruit lead a composed, approachable profile, with the locally grown barley retaining a clear voice through the cask influence. Maturation in former bourbon, red-wine and beer casks brings rounded sweetness, subtle fruit and a lightly coastal edge without overwhelming the malt. The palate is balanced and easy-moving, with enough depth to reward a slow pour while remaining fresh and direct. The finish is clean, softly warming and grain-led, with restrained oak lingering behind.
