Light floral and fresh-fruit aromas lead the nose, followed by honey and raisins on a creamy, rounded palate. The finish is long and warming, with spice, fudge and oak adding depth without obscuring the brighter character. Made entirely from unmalted British Columbia barley grown, distilled and bottled at the same Vancouver Island property, this field-to-flask single grain whisky balances a clear sense of place with an approachable texture. Serve neat or with a small splash of water.

About Shelter Point Distillery
Patrick Evans bought an oceanfront farm near Campbell River in 2005 and founded Shelter Point Distillery there in 2011 to make whisky from its barley. The distillery uses British Columbia-grown Canadian two-row barley, slow fermentation and double distillation in Forsyths copper pot stills. Its whisky matures and is bottled at the coastal site on northern Vancouver Island.
