Ripe red berries and tropical fruit lead the nose, followed by toffee, toasted oak and warm wood spice. The palate is smooth and creamy, layering honey and demerara sugar over fruit muesli, dark chocolate and a light liquorice note. Port and red-wine cask influence brings generous fruit and texture while the malt remains clear beneath it. Silky tannins carry a medium-length finish of berries, caramel and spice. Serve neat or with a little water.
