Earthy hay and dried grass open the nose, followed by briny peat and a measured phenolic edge. The palate is sweet and viscous, with rich honey, butterscotch and chewy nut brittle set against mineral salinity and gentle spice. Scottish peated malt gives the whisky its savoury depth while the underlying grain remains rounded and composed. The finish is clean and lingering, with woodfire smoke and honey returning. Serve neat or add a few drops of water.
