Red berries, stewed fruit and citrus peel lead the nose, followed by honey, dried fruit and malty sweetness. The palate is soft and generous, with sherry and Spanish red-wine casks bringing ripe cherry, wine-poached pear and warm spice without obscuring the malt. A creamy note adds breadth through the middle, while the fruit remains bright. The finish is composed and gently spiced, carrying berries, citrus and sweet oak. Serve neat or with a small splash of water.
