Peated and unpeated Speyside malts are combined after maturation in European oak, Spanish sherry butts and American bourbon casks. Fresh fruit, marmalade and spice arrive through a veil of peat smoke, followed by deep oak, vanilla and a more complex smoky character than the distillery’s usual style. The balance remains polished rather than heavy. Serve neat and allow time in the glass.
