The palate is semi-sweet and full-flavoured, yet the berry freshness keeps it balanced. No added sugar leaves the fruit clear through the finish. About Bowen Cider House
Bowen Cider House is the Johnstone family’s cidery at Meadowbrook Farm on Bowen Island, British Columbia. Three generations have helped establish an orchard of more than 700 apple trees, with over 55 heritage varieties.
The team hand-picks heritage apples and makes ciders ranging from very dry to sweet and fruit-led styles, alongside small batches aged in wine or whisky casks. A tasting lounge, patio and picnic grounds welcome visitors to the farm.
