Wild red berries lead, with a distinct green-tea note and a quiet savoury, forest-like edge rather than overt spice. The palate is shaped around clear Pinot Noir fruit and a restrained earthy profile, allowing the grand cru detail to come through without heaviness. Give it air in a wide glass and pair with roast duck, game birds, venison or mushrooms.

About Laurent Ponsot
After thirty-six years at Domaine Ponsot, Laurent Ponsot started a new wine venture in 2017 with his son Clément and other family members. The house makes wine from parcels it farms or manages, as well as grapes bought through long-term relationships with growers.
Its bottles have used electronic authentication and temperature indicators, along with a specially developed closure intended to reduce cork-related risk. Trees generally give their names to the reds, and flowers to the whites.
