The palate is medium-bodied and composed, with resolved tannins, gentle freshness and a savoury line of coffee, dried violet and earth. It is mature rather than forceful and benefits from careful handling. Stand upright before opening, decant only for sediment and serve with roast lamb, duck or mushrooms.
