Deep and concentrated, with sweet kirsch and black raspberry rising over smoke and a stony mineral note. The palate is full-bodied and layered, combining ripe plum with firm tannins and a supple, polished texture. Leather and dark earth add savoury depth as the fruit opens. The finish is persistent and structured, returning to black raspberry, mineral and smoke with measured power.

About Château La Fleur-Pétrus
Château La Fleur-Pétrus was named in the eighteenth century for its position across the Pomerol localities of Petrus and La Fleur. Jean-Pierre Moueix acquired it in 1950, the first vineyard purchase made by the Libourne house he had founded in 1937.
Its 18.7 hectares lie on the Pomerol plateau, where gravel and deep clay cover an iron-rich subsoil. Merlot dominates the vineyard, with smaller plantings of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot matched to the different soils.
