Black cherry and ripe plum lead, with violet, liquorice and toasted spice underneath. The palate is concentrated and smooth, its old-vine Tempranillo fruit framed by polished tannins and balanced acidity. Tobacco, vanilla and a mineral note carry through a long, savoury finish.

About Señorío de San Vicente
Señorío de San Vicente is an Eguren family winery in San Vicente de la Sonsierra within the Rioja appellation. The project emerged in the early 1990s around a single estate vineyard planted to the local Tempranillo Peludo selection. Marcos and Miguel Eguren developed the winery as a distinct part of the wider Sierra Cantabria family group.
Its San Vicente wine follows a deliberately narrow vineyard and variety identity, unlike the group’s broader multi-winery portfolio. The project remains under the Eguren family as its facilities and vineyard work continue to evolve. Señorío de San Vicente remains a focused Rioja project within the Eguren family's wider group, centred on one vineyard and Tempranillo Peludo.
