About Fukumitsuya Sake Brewery
Fukumitsuya was founded in Kanazawa in 1625. Its brewing water comes from rain and snow at Mount Hakusan, filtering underground before reaching the brewery's well. Fukumitsuya has worked directly with sake-rice growers since 1960, drawing on varieties from several regions. Since 2001, all its sake has been junmai, made without added distilled alcohol.
