Every apple variety harvested from the farm is used in this can-conditioned cider. The official description identifies an English scrumpy style. An independent exact-product note records fresh apple flavour and floral character, and explains that carbonation is produced by yeast as a fermentation by-product within each can. About Creek & Gully Cider
Creek & Gully belongs to Northern Lights Orchard, the Simonsen-Salting family farm established in Naramata by Peter Simonsen and Cyndie Salting in 1987. The orchard became certified organic in 1996 and now spans several generations of the family. Annelise Simonsen and Kaleigh Jorgensen started the cidery in 2018, turning sound apples rejected for blemishes or size into cider.
The ciders ferment with ambient yeasts, are conditioned in bottle or can, and are left unfined and unfiltered. The family also makes alcohol-free sodas from farm fruit.
