Bright apple and soft acidity lead this medium-dry cider, with tropical fruit and gentle spice adding lift. The palate is full and creamy rather than sweet, and a firm thread of apple-skin tannin carries the finish. Serve lightly chilled with roast pork, chicken, mature cheese, oily fish or warmly spiced dishes.

About Killahora Orchards
Killahora Orchards is a family enterprise on a County Cork estate whose history reaches back to 1750, with orchard boundaries recorded on an 1837 map. Cousins Dave Watson and Barry Walsh founded the drinks business, with Dave working in the orchards and Barry handling fermentation and blending. Their orchards contain 148 rare apple varieties and 48 varieties of perry pear, with a thousand trees planted through the work of the late Tim Watson.
Fruit is pressed fresh and fermented with wild yeasts on site. Some of the drinks mature for as long as a year.
