About Tsingtao
Tsingtao Brewery began in Qingdao in 1903, founded by German and British merchants as Germania-Brauerei Tsingtao. The brewery combined German brewing techniques with its Chinese setting and won an international award in Munich in 1906. Its classic lager is brewed in Qingdao with Laoshan Mountain spring water, malt, hops and rice, giving it a smooth character and gentle bitterness.
