Silky and deeply concentrated, with black raspberry, cassis, ripe black cherry and dark plum lifted by licorice, marzipan, honeysuckle and gentle floral spice. The palate is rich but never heavy, balancing pure fruit with fresh acidity, fine tannins and seamless texture. Clean and lingering on the finish, it benefits from air and pairs beautifully with roast beef or lamb.

About Screaming Eagle
Screaming Eagle began when Jean Phillips purchased a 57-acre Oakville vineyard in 1986. After selling most of the fruit to neighbouring wineries, she kept a small parcel of Cabernet Sauvignon and released the estate's first vintage, 1992, with Heidi Barrett as winemaker.
The vineyard lies on the eastern side of Oakville, on a gentle north-facing rise with stony soils. The estate offers its wines principally by allocation.
