Cassis and black currant lead, joined by black pepper, dark berries, vanilla, cocoa and tobacco. Full-bodied and generous, the palate layers blackberry, raspberry and black cherry with measured oak and warm spice. Soft tannins keep the structure polished, carrying concentrated fruit and savoury detail through a long, silky and composed finish.

About Cassini Cellars
Adrian Cassini bought a former lavender farm south of Oliver in 2006, planted vines and opened Cassini Cellars in 2009. His family had grown grapes in Romania before he moved to Canada; the winery takes its name from his Italian grandfather. Based between Oliver and Osoyoos in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley, Adrian makes both reds and whites, including blends and single-variety wines.
