Claude Lafond 2023 La Grande Pièce Reuilly Rosé
$49.99
Pale and delicately salmon-hued, with fresh red berries, citrus and a subtle mineral lift. The palate is fine-boned and refreshing, balancing gentle roundness with lively acidity and a clean, persistent finish. Made entirely from Pinot Gris in Reuilly, it is a polished, understated rose rather than an overtly fruity one. Serve well chilled with grilled fish, charcuterie, summer salads or fresh goat cheese.

About Claude Lafond
Domaine Claude Lafond is a three-generation Reuilly family estate, begun by André Lafond in the 1960s and expanded by his son Claude from 1977. Claude’s daughter Nathalie now leads the domaine. Its thirty-four hectares in Reuilly are planted mainly to Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.
The estate began its formal organic conversion programme in 2021. The soils are worked without chemical herbicides, and horses are used in selected parcels.
