About Jean-Paul Mauler
The Mauler family traces its Alsace winegrowing roots to 1546, with the family established in Mittelwihr by the early eighteenth century. Paul and Alice Mauler rebuilt the estate after the village's wartime destruction; Jean-Paul and Yvette shifted from bulk sales to estate bottling in 1960.
Julien and Aurélie Mauler represent the fourteenth generation, farming about ten hectares in Alsace, including Mittelwihr and Riquewihr. The range includes classic Alsace varieties, grand cru wines and late-harvest bottlings.
