Brilliant in colour and firm in shape, with cherry and redcurrant gradually opening from the glass. The palate is structured and focused, carried by ripe fruit and assured tannins that should soften with time. There is power here, but the finish remains composed rather than heavy. Decant if opening now and serve with roast duck, pork or mushroom dishes.

About Domaine Parent
Domaine Parent is a Pommard family estate whose line now spans twelve generations. Sisters Anne Parent and Catherine Fages-Parent took charge together in 1998.
Pommard remains the estate's specialty, with other parcels spread through neighbouring villages. Anne follows organic and biodynamic principles in the vineyard, working with lunar cycles. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted.
