Dried fig, plum and raisin aromas unfold with spice, dark chocolate, tobacco and leather. Silky and harmonious on the palate, it carries mature dark fruit through lively acidity and fully integrated tannins, with a delicate sweetness rather than heaviness. The finish is long, elegant and warming. Decant carefully and serve with Stilton, walnuts or dark chocolate.

About Croft
Croft’s story reaches back to York in 1588, when Henry Thompson established the wine-trading business that would become the Port house. John Croft joined in 1736, and the house bought Quinta da Roêda near Pinhão in 1889. Roêda remains the principal source for Croft’s Vintage Port blends.
Croft returned to family ownership in 2001, and investment at Roêda restored traditional granite fermentation vats and renewed vineyard parcels while preserving old-vine terraces. The house makes Vintage Ports, wood-aged reserves and tawnies, as well as the lighter rosé style of Croft Pink.
