About Suzuki Shuzoten
Founded by Matsuemon Suzuki in 1689, Suzuki Shuzoten is the brewery behind Hideyoshi sake in Daisen, Akita. The Hideyoshi name dates to an eighteenth-century tasting held by the Akita domain, when the brewery’s sake was praised as superior and ordered to be called Hideyoshi. In 1848, Hideyoshi was designated an official sake of the Satake domain. The range includes daiginjo and lightly sparkling sake.
