Ripe plum and cherry lead a powerful yet elegant aroma, with sandalwood giving the fruit a calm, seasoned frame. The palate is broad and composed, moving into rose petal, orange peel and spicy wood. Floral lift keeps the mature character from feeling heavy. The finish is deep and persistent, leaving citrus oil, polished oak and a final echo of dark fruit.

About Vaudon
Vaudon's Cognac history reaches back to 1771, when Francois Gaborit passed vineyards at Merignac to Pierre Nalbert. Anne-Marie and Pierre Vaudon now carry on the family estate in Fins Bois.
Ugni Blanc from Fins Bois provides the base for its Cognacs, which are matured in selected oak and blended. Alongside its Cognacs, the estate also makes Pineau des Charentes.
