90% Tibouren, 10% Grenache. 35 year old vines on schist. Fermented in stainless then aged on the lees for 12 months under fleurette in 100-year-old foudres. Sappy, penetrating and pure, offering intense red berry and spice flavours and a spine of juicy acidity. Long mineral-laced finish.
95 Points Decanter – August, 2020:
“Mid-pale orange colour. Floral and herby, with the beginnings of cumin spice and scorched citrus peel aromas. Mouthfilling and deep. Rich fruit with jasmine and baked apple. Rounded and characteristic. Some touches of oak and lees. Very fresh, long finish. Classy!”
