Savoury and textural, with barley tea, citrus peel and nutty malt leading the aroma. The palate is oily and broad, balancing red-wine tannin with toasted grain, dried fruit and a quiet honeyed note. Old oak and tobacco add depth without overwhelming the malt. The finish is measured and gently drying, carrying nuts, citrus, vanilla and a faint smoky, leathery edge.
