Crushed violet, dark cherry and blackberry meet sweet tobacco, dark chocolate and cracked black pepper. The palate is bold and savoury, with firm tannins and a smoky mineral line giving the wine shape and length. Decant before serving with braised beef, grilled lamb or slow-cooked mushroom dishes.
