Tantalus 2023 Riesling
Bergamot, jasmine and mandarin open with chalk, persimmon, slate and lemon oil. The palate is lush and juicy, bringing orange blossom, lemon peel, early peach and wet-stone minerality into focus. Citrus and stone fruit remain in tension through the finish. Expressive and refreshing, it suits spicy dishes, seafood, light salads or soft cheese.
Tantalus 2022 Pinot Noir Maija
Lifted florals, ripe red cherry and dried strawberry lead, with forest floor, thyme and graphite adding savoury detail. The palate grows darker and slightly richer, bringing bramble berry and blackberry through a long finish. Juicy tannins show a supple grip and release, keeping the wine vibrant, approachable and composed rather than heavy.
Tantalus 2022 Further Afield Series Syrah
Blueberry and blackberry compote lead with white pepper, nutmeg, florals and a quiet note of charcuterie. The palate is plush yet structured, layering black and blue fruit with cardamom, orange peel, pomegranate and red licorice. Fine-grained tannins and clear minerality carry a long, lifted finish. Serve with lamb, grilled sausages or smoked aubergine.
