The Petrera family planted just eight hectares of Primitivo vines on the Spinomarino hill, around 40km inland from Bari, some 200 years ago. The Fatalone vineyards are certified organic and the estate is one of the very first wineries, not just of Puglia but of Italy as a whole, to be certified 100% sustainable and with zero carbon footprint.
