A high-altitude Chardonnay layered with citrus, peach and stone fruit, lifted by floral notes, mineral definition and bright acidity. Fermentation and maturation in French oak add breadth and a gently polished texture without overwhelming the fruit. Concentrated yet naturally balanced, it works beautifully with roast poultry, creamy seafood or firm cheeses.
Catena Zapata 2017 Adrianna Vineyard River Stones Malbec 750 mL
Blackberry, cassis, violet and crushed stone lead a dark, highly aromatic profile, with wet earth and subtle spice adding depth. The palate is full and mouthfilling but remains fresh, its concentrated fruit shaped by integrated acidity and ultra-fine tannins. A stony, mineral texture gives the wine precision through a long finish, where black fruit, flowers and a savoury granitic note gradually return.

Spicy black fruit and delicate flowers lead a highly aromatic nose, with plum, sour cherry, herbs and graphite adding detail. The palate is rounded and smooth yet precise, its ripe fruit supported by moderate acidity, fine grip and a chalky limestone impression. Freshness keeps the concentration poised through a long, mineral finish. Decant before serving with grilled lamb, braised beef or roasted eggplant.

From just 27 rows of a high-altitude parcel in Gualtallary, this Chardonnay is shaped by white-stone alluvial soils, cool nights and naturally low yields. Lime, orange blossom and restrained orchard fruit meet a precise mineral line, brisk acidity and a long, stony finish. Fermented in French oak with partial malolactic conversion, then aged 12-16 months in seasoned barrels, it remains finely textured rather than overtly oaky. Unfined and unfiltered.
