Deeply coloured and remarkably composed, with black cherry, blackberry and stewed plum lifted by violet, raspberry, mint and rose. Earthy notes of truffle, cocoa and damp soil add depth. The palate is dense yet fresh, framed by firm, fine-grained tannins and a long, mineral finish that feels precise rather than heavy.
Château Godeau 2009 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
Roasted black cherry, ripe plum and black raspberry lead, layered with liquorice, chocolate, sweet earth and light cedar. The palate is full and fleshy, with dark fruit carried by polished, silky tannins and fresh acidity. Savoury depth keeps the richness composed through a long, elegant and persistent finish.
Château La Croix Bonnelle 2019 Saint-Émilion
Warm blackberry and red berries sit at the centre, joined by vanilla and gentle baking spice. The palate is full and composed, with ripe dark fruit carried by firm, well-developed tannins.
