Vineyard: Serralunga d’Alba Production: 6,000 bottles Soil: Limestone This vineyard is characterized by its considerable altitude, which brings noteable freshness to the Nebbiolo grown here. Bardarina is especially powerful in this vintage. Intense black and blue fruit, leather, licorice, smoke and spices meld together for incredibly dense and complex wine backed up by considerable structure. This is a wonderfully complete Barolo that will reveal its greatness in time.

Barolo from La Serra is known for its elegance and freshness. Reverdito’s 2016 La Serra is wonderfully silky and refined yet powerful, with all of the lift that is such a signature of this high-altitude vineyard.
