A superb single-vineyard Ciró Rosso made from 100% Gaglioppo grown in sandy clay soils, fermented in stainless steel and aged in concrete for a year. It has an enticing nose of red fruits, orange peel, scrub-brush, baking spices, and a deeper, cherry kirsch sweetness.
Ruby red with a purple shimmer, on the nose it presents distinct red berry aromas followed by liquorice and rhubarb. A pleasantly soft mouthfeel, it is refined and elegant with well-balanced tannins.
The long finish shows a touch of acidity with fantastic, unforgettable freshness.
